Final Week: Week beginning 17.07.17

Next week is our final week of year 4 and will begin on Monday and Tuesday with two transition days in year 5.

The rest of the week will be spent completing our Angry Earth booklets, answering maths problems (hopefully outside) and on our STEM project.

As we will be completing out STEM projects on Friday, there will not be the opportunity this year to bring in anything from home on the last day of term.

Thank you to everyone who has filled in the reply slips from their child’s school report. The comments so far have been very positive.

Wishing you all an enjoyable summer holiday and we will see you all again around school when you beginĀ once moreĀ in year 5.

Science

Our topic for the last couple of weeks has been ‘What Makes The Earth Angry?’ We have looked at Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Tsuanmi’s.  Last week we worked in groups to build volcanoes and yesterday we used vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and red food colouring to make our volcanoes ‘erupt!’
