Science 22nd March

The children were investigating transparent, translucent and opaque objects.

We also made some slime as it was the last week of term, however it was too runny to send home. We will have to follow the recipe carefully next time. 


Week beginning 21st March

In our last three days we will be learning about the Easter story, looking at trust and betrayal. 

In maths we will be measuring.

We will also be going to church on Wednesday and doing some Easter crafts in the afternoon.

Homework, sent home today, is due in on Wednesday 13th April.

Week beginning 14th March

Next week we will finish our brochures on Barranquilla carnival and start our topic on Trust and Betrayal for Easter.

In maths we will be working on applying our addition and subtraction skills to different problems. 

In English will will finish our stories and work on performing these.

Don’t forget your bikes on Wednesday.

Week beginning 7th March

Next week we will back to place value in maths, looking at rounding and partitioning in particular.

In English we will be looking at the final chapter in the El Dorado story.

In topic, we have to do our Muisca offerings that didn’t get completed due to the extras we did this week.
